What is Karate?

Karate is the art of self-defense without using any weapon; it is a belief that in some point it is true, but in fact it is not 100% true. The richness of the art of karate is too big. Karate has the power that the human beings can achieve all the pleasure and satisfaction in the life by karate-meditation. Here the word  ‘Karate-Meditation’  has been deliberately used, because only training everyday cannot fulfill all the needs. If we understand karate as an art to live a life, then this training gives eternal happiness at each moment, behind this there is a full human body and complete science of life. To understand anything related to the human life and body we need huge concentration which can be achieve by Karate training. Without using any weapon, by body movements like KATA and KUMITE that increases the energy booster hormone called adrenaline present in human body, due to this we can regain enthusiasm in any age as well as a chemical called dopamine gets created by brain cells, which makes you feel very happy. By any physical activity it can happen to some extent but only by the motivation of karate’s movements which needs a great courage and concentration we can feel inner peace and happiness. For the sake of self-defense, there are many hope art in the world, each of which has different characteristics, but every joint of the body can be used as a weapon in karate.

When was CKC established?

Champion’s Karate Club was established in the year of 1989 by Sensei Santosh Mohite. CKC is one of the most popular academies for pure traditional and sports karate. CKC is affiliated to WTSKF (World Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation) recognized by Government of India, IOA (Indian Olympics Association), WKF (World Karate Federation), KAI (Karate Association of India). The aim of CKC is to constitute the national and international players. CKC has more than 50 branches and 3000 players all over Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Daman. More than 600 players of CKC have participated in various competitions like national school games, KAI national, international and have acquired various medals and awards. The motive of CKC is to spread the awareness about the fitness amongst youngsters, to improve the stability of body and mind and to make each and every woman of India physically and mentally strong by providing self-defense training through the scientific knowledge of Karate.

Who is Karate for?

Anybody can learn Karate anywhere, anytime. There are no such boundaries, there is no age limit to learn karate. Karate does not mean only Fighting it has many branches like a tree. Karate teaches us how to respect others, how to stay stable in life mentally and physically, how to gain strength. So anyone who wants to achieve strength, stability, self-confidence can learn Karate.
